The Big Picture
Life at UC & Beyond
Throughout my college years, I have fostered my passions and experienced moments I could have only dreamt of. At CCM I have fueled my passions each day. Performing dream roles in Swan Lake, guesting in operas including Agrippina and Galileo Galilei, and having the joy of performing at Music Hall, are just some of the incredible opportunities I have had during my time here.

I have continued to pursue involvement outside of the dance department though CCM Tribunal, the college's undergraduate student government organization. I have been the secretary of this group since my first year at UC, and what a rewarding experience it has been. We plan volunteer events and formals for the whole college to participate in. It is so lovely to watch the CCM community become more connected in what is usually an isolated environment due to our demanding schedules.

One of my blog posts talks about my Field School honors experience that I self-designed. After completing the field school, I was asked back to Jamestown Rediscovery as an archaeological intern. The internship lasted for a total of twelve weeks during the summer of 2024. It was absolutely incredible to work with the amazing staff once again, and learn even more about the field I am so passionate about. Specifically, participating in public archaeology is extremely rewarding to me. Visitors to the site are able to talk with us as we are excavating to understand what we are uncovering in real-time.

My time at UC has been absolutely incredible, and has opened my world to so many opportunities that I never thought possible. I am eager to see what my fourth, and final, year will bring!
